Print Your Own Wedding Invitations

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

I do not know why more people do not print your own invitations. I think that being able to add your own personal touch to a card is fantastic. Despite there being a lot of invitations and greetings cards around, there never seems to be one that has exactly the right words and the right pictures on one card. If perhaps you do then you have to end up paying a lot of money. Y in-laws and parents make their own cards and my Mum even had a go at print your own wedding invitations when she did some for my sisters wedding.

My in-laws have some great card stock paper and print something appropriate. My Mother makes something really special as she is good at craft and cuts out pictures or uses a combination of printing, stamping and stickers to create something completely unique. She tends to spend a lot of money on her hobby and her cards are probably dearer than those in the shops. However I think that a card that has been hand made is appreciated far more than a shop bought one and everyone comments on how good the ones she makes are.

Clean Jewelry

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

My friend has just treated herself to one of the ultrasonic cleaners available in the market and she is getting stunning results. Every time I see her, she is wearing some sparkly and clean jewelery which she has cleaned up using the machine. She has a massive collection of jewelry you see and a lot of it was antique and had got rather dirty. She had tucked it all away, intending to get it professionally cleaned sometime in the future. However, she now has been able to use her sonic jewelry cleaner and get that sort of results herself.

It is fantastic and I am almost getting sold on the idea myself. I have some pieces which I am constantly having cleaned and I think that in the long run, having a crest ultrasonic cleaner could save me a lot of time and money. I have even been looking around on the Internet to see what sort of prices they are and whether I can afford one. I have been reading some reviews as well to make sure that the model I choose will be suitable for what I want to use it for.

Track the resource

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

Human resource is one of the growing fields in any corporate. People are recruited for gathering other resources or the working crowd. To make the work of human resource team simple and easier there is applicant tracking software available. These are basically designed with simple user interface and database stored in the company’s storage device. The user interface is made online so that applicant can apply directly from outside. Then there will be resume parser which does the job of parsing the resumes and classifying them based on the technical expertise and experiences of the person applied. Resume parser makes the simpler by doing the job of sorting. At the end the human resource people just need to look into a small list of sorted resumes to finalize the people to be recruited. Staffing CRM also uses the recruiting software nowadays. Also, currently some firms even provide customized software based on the company and its requirements. Some firms even have configurable features which can be modified for specific industry needs. Few firms also give after delivery support and service. The company may even go for maintenance with the same firm. There are also firms which provide technical assistance after they deliver the applicant tracking software to the companies.

I want to learn guitar!?

Friday, July 25th, 2008

I want to learn guitar, but I am not sure where to start. My budget is tight. I plan to pick up a fender squire to learn on, but I am lost after that. I did play saxaphone for 9 years so I have musical sense, just not with a guitar :). I would like to learn using DVD’s/Books, but I am not sure which ones are good…

You can defnitely find a fender squire for cheap, I would just buy a used one, or you can even get an Ibanez electric guitar package that will only run you about $199, it comes with an amp, book, strap, gig bag and tuner, which all separate will cost you more and Ibanez is a great brand,

If you want to stick with your squire then a good book would be Hal Leonards Guitar Method Books series, it comes with a CD which is what you need and it will definitely help you…I think you will do fine if you can already ready music, it will just take time for you to get the coordination and finger techniques down..

try going to http://www.justinguitar.com or buy the book The Complete Billboard Illustrated Guitar Handbook. If you’re just starting i suggest starting with chords and chord progression it could really help you in your rhythm and at the same time you’ll be able to play the simple songs. When you get better try learning to solo and improvisation which is lead guitar playing so you could choose if you wanna focus on rhythm or lead which is both an important part of any band.

Is there any difference in you depending on what order you are born in the family?

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

eg if you are middle child are you any different to the first child or 3rd?

Since the 1920s, psychiatrists starting with Alfred Adler have debated the effect of birth order on personality. Generally, most theorists believe that the oldest child is usually more conservative, ambitious, and responsible. Older children and children from smaller families also ordinarily score slightly better on intelligence tests than their younger brothers and sisters.

Younger brothers and sisters often rebel against the standards set by their older siblings. Of course, they are often just as likely to try to best them. Middle children are often ignored as parents concentrate on the baby in the family. Recent studies indicate that the younger brothers in a family with many sons have a greater tendency to become homosexuals.

Of course, for every study undertaken on birth order and personality, there is probably another study that disputes its findings. Children are also influenced by the stability or lack of stability of their parents’ relationship, their economic status, and their religious upbringing (or lack thereof), their general health, and their education.

BTW, the obsessive-compulsive author of this post is a first-born child.

Help with camera shots?

Monday, June 23rd, 2008

hi.. i have a canon s3is.. 6mp.. and 12x digital zoom..
im having a little “studio day” tomorrow with my friends and im looking forward to take great pictures.. im currently interested in doing close up portrait images and i want my pictures to appear sharp and clear..

i just wanna ask from some tips out there from professional photographers on the best lighting of the day.. ISO settings exposure settings and stuff like that..

If you are shooting indoors then try and use lighting from the sides, don’t use the on camera flash. Try using two desk lamps, one from either side, to light your friends faces. Put the camera on a tripod, or other object where it won’t move, get your friend to pose, and look at the camera to arrange the shot, put it on self timer mode then press the button. Self-timer means the photo won’t blur from the movement of you pressing the shutter. Use the lowest ISO possible, either 100 or 200 to get the best quality, and make sure you have the camera settings set to the largest/best possible quality. Above all, experiment, try and get some different lights and move them round to see what they look like and how your friends look

……….

Well…. the settings of all camera are limited…there is no best lighting…still can find unsatisfing errors…so I would suggest you just go ahead to shot for what you want and then edit these pictures by photo software or bring your cam to the photo shop, the professional photographers will help you to fix your problem, such as, delete the red points of the eye……
and the servise normally no charge

……….

Here’s a quick tip…

the best lighting of the day is:

7:00am -10:00am

and

5:00pm - 5:30pm

……….
