The easiest way to resolve this is to begin by checking all the connections first. Double check that everything is plugged into the correct location and that all connections are tight.

One problem that occurs frequently is having the cable plugged into the “In from Antenna” spot rather than the “In from Dish, Digital IN, or LNB IN”.
